“Gone Girl” writer Gillian Flynn’s novel “Sharp Objects” is reportedly being adapted as a TV series.

Flynn’s book “Gone Girl” is being released as a feature film this October and her other book “Dark Places” has been adapted as a movie starring Charlize Theron. “Dark Places” is set to be released this September.

According to Deadline, eOne Television, which is part of the company Entertainment One, has signed on to adapt the 2006 novel “Sharp Objects” as a TV series. Marti Noxon, a writer for TV series including “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Glee,” has reportedly signed on to serve as showrunner and writer. Flynn will serve as an executive producer.
