'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up' stays strong on bestseller lists
'Tidying Up,' which gives readers a one-time solution to de-cluttering their home, has been a mainstay on bestseller lists since its publication.
A lot of people apparently need to clean up their spaces.
Marie Kondo’s “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up,” which is an English-language version of her Japanese book and tells readers how to de-clutter once so it lasts, was originally published in October but has been a stalwart on bestseller lists ever since.
“Tidying Up” is ranked at number two on the IndieBound bestseller list for the week of Feb. 26 and has been a stalwart on the list since its publication, debuting in the top 15 of the Hardcover Nonfiction list the week after its publication.
In addition, it is currently at number four on Amazon’s list of bestsellers.
Barnes & Noble recommended the title, with a “messy editor” calling it an “artful tidying plan,” while Amazon selected it as one of the best books of 2014 in the crafts, home, and garden category.
