Amy Schumer: Here's what we know about her upcoming memoir
Schumer, who wrote and starred in this summer's movie 'Trainwreck,' will reportedly release a memoir through Gallery Books in 2016.

Comedian Amy Schumer has reportedly signed a book deal.
Schumer will release a memoir through Gallery Books and the work is expected to come out sometime in the latter half of 2016.
The book will “offer personal and observational stories from Schumer that range from the raunchy to the romantic, the heartfelt to the harrowing,” Gallery Books said in a statement.
Schumer, who is a co-creator, writer, and star on the Comedy Central program “Inside Amy Schumer” and starred in and wrote this summer’s romantic comedy hit “Trainwreck,” said of her upcoming book in a statement, “Believe it or not, there's actually more I have to say.”
The news comes just a few days after Schumer’s Comedy Central show won the Emmy Award for best variety sketch series. Schumer herself was nominated for best actress in a comedy for her work on the program and shared nominations for best directing for a variety series and best writing for a variety series with others.
Schumer also recently received praise for a speech she delivered at the Gloria Awards earlier this year. "I say if I'm beautiful," she said. "I say if I'm strong. You will not determine my story."
Books written by entertainment personalities continue to be big business in the publishing world. Mindy Kaling, who created and stars in the Hulu sitcom “The Mindy Project,” had her new book “Why Not Me?” debut at number two on the IndieBound hardcover nonfiction list in the week of its release. “Modern Love” by Aziz Ansari of the recently-ended TV show “Parks and Recreation” is on the same list at number seven. “Sick in the Head” by Judd Apatow, who directed Schumer’s movie “Trainwreck,” is below it at number 13.
Meanwhile, “Parks” star Amy Poehler’s book “Yes Please” is at number three on the IndieBound trade paperback nonfiction list and “Bossypants” by Tina Fey, who co-created the Netflix show “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” is still at number six on the mass market bestseller list more than four years after its release.
