Bentley has released a new app for the Apple Watch that will allow back seat passengers to have control over a number of in-vehicle functions form their wrists.

The app will allow passengers in the new Bentayga to control the vehicle's seats, audio systems, and climate control, via the vehicle's Bluetooth system.

Instead of digging through menus on the vehicle's infotainment system, or leaning forward to reach a button, lounging passengers can simply reach down to their Apple Watch and adjust functions like the vehicle's massaging seats or change radio stations.

"The Bentayga is technologically advanced and combines this with luxury in a way only Bentley can achieve," Dan Whittaker, Director of Electrical and Electronics at Bentley, said in a statement released to members of the media. "This new Apple Watch connectivity is another example of how we are constantly innovating in order to enhance the customer experience.”

The Apple Watch app is just one of many high-end features offered on the Bentayga, not the least of which is an available $160,000 Breitling timepiece integrated into the vehicle's dashboard.

The first few Bentaygas have just been delivered, meaning those lucky first owners can now try out the app.
