There are many things in life we can't live without: oxygen, water, a reliable internet connection and coffee. Now, we may not have a holiday dedicated to the importance of oxygen or that WiFi service, but this Monday, coffee-lovers can hit the streets with streamers and coupons while we honor the most beloved of drinks.

To celebrate National Coffee Day on September 29, a host of our favorite stores are promoting fair trade brews while offering free cups of Joe and some big discounts on the good stuff. Below, we've listed some of the best of these offers to save a cup-ful of bucks. Make sure to bookmark this page and check back, as we'll add more deals as we come across them.

Best National Coffee Day Deals

McDonald's: From now until the big day itself, you can start each morning off with a free small McCafé by stopping by your local outlet.

Dunkin' Donuts: Then, for your afternoon hit, you can head to your favorite donut chain and bag a medium cup of its Rainforest Alliance-Certified Dark Roast Coffee for free. Alternatively, from September 26 to 29, you can take the party home and splash out on one of its Dunkin’ Donuts’ 16-oz. Coffee Bags or K-Cup Packs for the discounted price of $6.99 (a $2 low). (The coffee bags can be bought online at this price or in-store, but the K-Cups are sold at select outlets only.)

Starbucks: The king of coffee haunts is also jumping on the bandwagon in celebration of the holiday. On the day's menu is a single-origin, medium roast coffee in honor of the birthplace of coffee production, aptly named Ethiopia. In-store you'll get a free tasting, while those who opt to purchase a 16-oz. bag of the blend for $13.95 will receive an Ethiopia Tasting Cup for free.

Krispy Kreme: If by the time you've hit up the other chains you haven't had your fill of caffeine, Krispy Kreme will be offering a 12-oz. cup of house, decaf, or dark roast coffee forfree. Alternatively, you can get a premium coffee for just $1. (This includes a fancy 12-oz. mocha, pumpkin spice latte, or iced coffee.)

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop: If you have a preference for Tim Hortons' brew you can grab a Regular or Dark Roast for just $1 from now until Monday.
