Best tablets for Black Friday are at Kmart. Really, Kmart.

The best tablets are just part of Kmart's Black Friday assault this year. In addition to some of the best tablets, Black Friday at Kmart boasts the earliest opening time and more great bargains on electronics.

Customers wait in line for doorbuster deals at the Kmart on Addison Street in Chicago on Thanksgiving in 2012. This Black Friday, Kmart will have some of the best deals on tablets.

Kmart isn't playing around with Black Friday this year. Boasting the earliest Thanksgiving opening time at 6 am, Sears' sister store is intent on holding a 42-hour Black Friday shopathon. But will the deals be worth ditching your turkey dinner to stand in line? We examined the leaked Kmart Black Friday ad to find out.

Kmart Black Friday Ad Analysis

Electronics Are a Credit to Kmart (and You)

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" 8GB Android Tablet with $20 in SYWR points for $149.99
This is an incredible deal, bar none. First off, Kmart's ad price beats the best deal we've ever seen for this tablet by $6. Plus, the Shop Your Way Rewards credit brings this popular 7" slate to $20 below our Black Friday prediction for a small, mainstream Android tablet. However, be aware that Costco's Black Friday sale will include both the 10" and 8" Galaxy Tab 4 tablets, also at incredible price lows. With more storage space and screen real estate, either of those deals might be your better bet.

Amazon Fire HD 6 6" 8GB WiFi Tablet with $10 in SYWR points for $79.99
To be fair, Meijer has already handily beat this ad, offering a $20 credit that tops Kmart's. But if you don't live near a Meijer location, then Kmart is your best bet to score a deal that blows ourBlack Friday tablet predictions right out of the water. You'll get the Fire HD 6 (the bottom-tier tablet in Amazon's recently refreshed lineup) marked down by $19, with an extra $10 SYWR credit tacked on for good measure. Assuming you'll use the credit, that'll be 29% off this yet-to-be-discounted tablet.

My muddle to mediocrity: When good enough is good enough

RCA 46" 1080p LED LCD HDTV for $299.99
This TV comes within $1 of hitting our Black Friday doorbuster prediction for its class, and that's awesome. Unfortunately, it's actually a pretty yawn-worthy price for an RCA 46" 1080p HDTV in general. We've been seeing similar sets priced at $299 at Walmart since mid-September. Lacking a store credit to sweeten the pot, this TV's advertised price isn't worth a trip to the store.

Video Games Are Hot, Frozen is Not

2 Select Wii U Games with $40 in SYWR points for $119.98
Assuming you'll use the credit, this offer slashes 33% off the list price of two popular Wii U games. That's actually on the high end of our Black Friday video games prediction, which suggested discounts between 25% to 35% off for current-gen titles. According to the ad, eligible games will include Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, and more.

Disney Frozen Snow Glow Elsa Doll for $29.99
Parents, we know we predicted that Frozen toys could see markdowns of up to 85% off this year — but that doesn't mean everything will be on sale! For instance, you can pick this Elsa doll up at Walmart now for a full buck cheaper than Kmart's ad price. Ignore the $40 MSRP; every major store is selling this doll for $35 or less right now, no Black Friday sales necessary.

Disney Frozen Elsa Hooded Bath Towel for $8.99
Of course, if your little one is demanding more than just Frozen toys, you can scoop up this doorbuster towel at a decent savings. This poncho-style kids' towel will fall to $9, which is $4 below what Walmart currently charges. That said, Kmart will also offer select regular bath towels for $1.75 each, which makes $9 seem a little steep.

Other Deals to Watch

Buy 1 Pair of Men's, Women's, or Kids' Shoes, get a Second Pair for $1
Depending on whether this shoe sale stacks with any coupons, this could be an excellent stocking-up opportunity. Although we saw a similar Kmart BOGO shoe sale as recently as October, it'll at least be tied as the best footwear deal we've seen from this retailer since June.

Can Syria heal? For many, Step 1 is learning the difficult truth.

Proctor Silex Small Appliances from $4.99 each
Super-cheap small appliances are an easy doorbuster pick every year. The Proctor Silex electrics on sale at $5 off will include the usual suspects: a toaster, a hand mixer, and a can opener. For what it's worth, during Black Friday last year we saw a similar set of items from Kmart for 50 cents less, at $4.49 each. Still, these doorbusters make easy presents, especially for college students and young couples.

All in all, store credits make Kmart's noteworthy doorbusters seem especially tempting, but there's not a lot to get excited about in this sale. If you're dying to get some early shopping done on Thanksgiving, Kmart could be one of your only in-store options. Of course the Internet is always open, and we're betting you'll see plenty of better deals there — no lines necessary!
