McDonald's seeks 'Perfect Chicken Burger' in Australia

The search for the perfect chicken burger may be coming to a close for McDonald's Australia. A promotion launched in October to allow consumers to enter and vote for the best chicken burger is down to four finalists.

McDonald’s Australia is close to determining the “Perfect Chicken Burger,” a promotion it launched in October to showcase the Create Your Taste (CYT) platform. Diners were invited to submit their ideal chicken burger using ingredients available through the CYT build-your-own-burger kiosks now spreading across Australia and still testing in the U.S.).

Four finalists have been named. Consumers can not only vote for their favorite (which will earn its creator $10,000 AUS), they can print out the QR code for each finalist at the contest site and then scan that code at the CYT kiosk to replicate the burger build and give it a taste test.
