PHOENIX
Utility crews and Phoenix-area residents continue to clean up after Phoenix storms that blew over trees, light poles and power poles.
The number of customers still without power as of Monday had dropped to under 1,000. That's down from the peak of just over 100,000 immediately after the storm hit Saturday afternoon.
Some streets in Glendale remained closed as crews repaired downed power lines.
Hamilton Elementary School in southwest Phoenix was closed Monday because of an electrical outage caused by the storm.
