When is the Apple Watch event today?

The day has finally arrived – Apple will announce when we can get our hands on the long-awaited Apple Watch.
The news will be part of an Apple event held Monday in San Francisco. Want to follow along? Good news: Apple will live-stream the event online. Plus, if rumors prove true, Apple may have a few extra surprises up its sleeve.
Apple will stream the event on Apple.com/live starting at 10 a.m. Pacific (1 p.m. Eastern). Note that you should make sure your software updates are up to date if you want to tune in.
“Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later,” says Apple on the live stream site.
Apple has been characteristically quiet about what will be presented at the event. All we have so far is an invitation that says “Spring Forward” with a multicolored floral design spreading from a white Apple logo.
Of course, that hasn’t slowed the rumor mill. Apple will likely announce the launch date for its much-anticipated Apple Watch, as well as details about versions and pricing. Though information about the entry-level Apple Watch Sport has already been released (it is set to start at $350), industry watchers expect a few more designs, even ranging to a luxury edition watch priced at up to $5,000. Apple could also announce further third-party apps in order to excite developers and shoppers around Watch-specific applications.
The event is set to last about two hours, so it is likely that Apple will have something to tout beyond the Apple Watch. There has been a lot of buzz around a potential iTunes streaming service, but 9to5 Mac says that is getting bumped to the Worldwide Developer Conference this June. Instead, 9to5 Mac thinks it is likely that an updated MacBook Air is the most likely addition to the announcement lineup.
