A new movie starring Johnny Depp and directed and written by Kevin Smith will be a family business for the two – their daughters will also star in the film.

Depp and his daughter Lily-Rose Depp will star in the movie “Yoga Hosers,” which will be directed and written by Smith, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Lily-Rose Depp and Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn Smith will play convenience store clerks who also love yoga and who must take on evil forces. Depp will portray a man-hunter who helps them.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie “Yoga” will be the second in a trilogy directed by Smith about the country of Canada and its legends. The first movie in what is known as the True North trilogy is titled “Tusk” and will debut at the Toronto Film Festival next month, then will be released in theaters on Sept. 19, according to Variety. Johnny Depp, Lily-Rose Depp, and Harley Quinn Smith will also appear in “Tusk,” according to the Guardian. Meanwhile, “Tusk” stars Justin Long and Haley Joel Osment, among others, will join the cast of “Yoga.”

Tracing fentanyl’s path into the US starts at this port. It doesn’t end there.

Actors joining the Depps and Smith in “Yoga” also include Natasha Lyonne of “Orange Is the New Black,” “Arrested Development” actor Tony Hale, and Adam Brody.

Smith is famously a comic book fan and said that this is his debut in the genre, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“People always ask me 'Are you ever going to make a comic book movie?'" he said. "This is it — but instead of yet another dude saving the day, our antiheroes are the most feared and formidable creatures man has ever encountered: two 15-year-old girls."

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp’s upcoming movies include the Stephen Sondheim musical “Into the Woods,” which will be released this December; the comedy “Mortdecai,” which will be released this coming February; and “Black Mass,” a biopic about criminal James “Whitey” Bulger that is scheduled to come out in September 2015.
