Parents looking for the perfect name for a new addition to the family can get some online help from Central Baptist Hospital.

The medical center in Lexington now offers a mobile app and a website that allows parents to search a variety of categories for monikers for a newborn.

Some of the name categories users may choose from are top baby names, biblical, athletes, food, artists, comedians, country music stars, celebrity baby names, Disney, sci-fi and social media influences and tech stars.

Facebook users can use the app to create virtual "baby blankets" with various combinations of baby names.

The blankets can be pinned on Pinterest, tweeted about on Twitter or can become the subject of a Facebook poll so that followers can rank their favorite names.
