Don’t pick raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries before they’re ripe, because they won’t continue ripening after they’ve been harvested. A ripe berry will easily come off the vine or bush into your hand. If you have to tug, it’s not quite ready. Blackberries and blueberries turn dull when they're fully ripe.
