Watch Bruce Springsteen join Brian Wilson for 'Barbara Ann'

Holmdel, N.J.
East met West as Jersey shore music icon Bruce Springsteen joined California music legend Beach Boy Brian Wilson on stage in New Jersey.
Wilson was performing at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Wednesday when Springsteen walked on stage and sang harmony to "Barbara Ann" during an encore.
Springsteen then grabbed a guitar as Wilson sang "Surfin' U.S.A."
The Asbury Park Press reports:
As quickly as he appeared, the Boss exited the stage, leaving Wilson in the spotlight at his white piano. He and his band to performed "Fun, Fun, Fun" and "Love & Mercy" to close the show.
It was a spirited end to a vastly rewarding, if at times unsteady, evening. Wilson is not a classic frontman, and at times he's awkward, but his foibles make the music that much more endearing. He and members of his backing band, which included original Beach Boy Al Jardine and former Beach Boy Blondie Chaplin, traded off on lead vocals for the show....
Two songs from the new Wilson album, "No Pier Pressure," stood up very well against the classics. "Runaway Dancer" has an '80s feel with a pulsating synth rhythm and smoky sax undertone. "The Right Time" has a gorgeous melody and rich harmonies -- two classic Beach Boys ingredients.
