CMA nominations: Little Big Town and Eric Church reign supreme

The Country Music Association awards show is set to air on Nov. 4 on ABC, with Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley as hosts.

Little Big Town crushed it with their song "Girl Crush" and are tied with Eric Church with five nominations each at this year's Country Music Association Awards.

The four-part vocal group rode the success of the song to nominations for album, group, musical event, music video and single of the year. Church is up for entertainer, male vocalist, single, musical event and song of the year.

Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert received four nominations each. Singer-songwriters stood out in this year's nominations with Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt and Maddie & Tae all receiving three nominations.
