Clarity
A poem.

Clarity
Today's air is so clear
We can see pencil line
Switchback dirt roads
Thirty miles distant
Climbing the Jemez Mountains.
The one hundred mile view
Exposes Colorado under a
Blank sun.
Above is palest blue,
At the horizon violet, while
Cumulonimbus, cumulus, cirrus
Hug the curve of the earth
Where sky becomes the heavens.
