US military officials say a lightning strike has injured 10 soldiers from an Army National Guard unit who were training at a base in New York state.
First Sgt. David Moore says the soldiers were on a Fort Drum training ground when the lightning struck Tuesday night.
Moore says six soldiers have returned to duty. He says the other four are being treated and are expected to resume their duties.
Fort Drum is home to the 10th Mountain Division.
