Shooter reported at El Paso hospital
Police are investigating a shooting at a VA hospital in El Paso, Texas.

A gunman shot a doctor at an Army medical center in El Paso, Texas, and then apparently took his own life on Tuesday, the El Paso Times reported.
The paper said the information was based on a preliminary investigation provided by officials, including U.S. Representative Beto O'Rourke's office.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the men and women at the El Paso VA clinic," O'Rourke said on his Facebook page.
There was no information immediately available on the condition of the doctor.
Officials at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in west Texas were not immediately available to comment but said they would soon hold a news conference.
The shooting was at a VA clinic next to the medical center, the paper said. Video from the scene showed numerous police cars and emergency vehicles while at least one helicopter flew overhead.
CBS Evening News in a tweet quoted a Pentagon official as saying the situation was now under control.
