In honor of iTunes reaching 10 billion downloads, here are the top 25 songs sold since Apple opened the music store in 2003.
The hip hop group Black Eyed Peas take top honors. Their “I Gotta Feeling” is the all-time most-downloaded song, with “Boom Boom Pow” the third.
But the outrageously bedecked Lady Gaga wins the prize for the most songs in the top 25, with three singles: “Poker Face,” “Just Dance,” and “Bad Romance.”

Other artists in the top 10 include Jason Mraz, Flo Rida, Taylor Swift, Leona Lewis, and Ke$ha, all known for generating hit singles and videos.
One song in the Top 25, however, topped charts before Ms. Swift (No. 8) or Miley Cyrus (No. 20) were even born. Journey’s 1981 power ballad, “Don’t Stop Believin’ ” has become a pop-culture touchstone. It has been featured in several movies – including “The Wedding Singer” and “Bedtime Stories” (Adam Sandler is apparently a fan) – as well as the video game “Rock Band” and more than a dozen TV shows, including the finale of HBO’s “The Sopranos” and the first episode of Fox’s hit high-school musical dramedy, “Glee.”
