National Football League teams are still hustling to fill their rosters as training camps open up this week.
Reports say the Redskins continue to make moves. One day after agreeing to trade quarterback Donovan McNabb to Minnesota, Washington has reportedly traded defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth to the Patriots for a 2013 fifth-round draft pick.
And the Saints will trade running back Reggie Bush to the Dolphins, according to online reports. Bush, who has agreed to a new contract with Miami, had apparently become expendable after New Orleans drafted former Heisman Trophy-winning running back Mark Ingram of Alabama in April.
The Seahawks continue to be busy, bringing in new talent. Late Wednesday, online reports indicated that free agent wide receiver Sidney Rice is leaving the Vikings to join Seattle. He is expected to sign a five-year deal and join former Viking teammate Tavaris Jackson in the Pacific Northwest.
Other reported signings on Wednesday included the Panthers holding onto running back DeAngelo Williams and the Jets re-signing wide receiver Santonio Holmes.
According to terms of the new league collective bargaining agreement, teams can sign free agents beginning at 6 pm ET on Friday.
