Arne Duncan, MVP: Watch his 'sick' moves in the paint

Arne Duncan, the US Secretary of Education, won the MVP and rave reviews for a no-look pass during the NBA Celebrity All-Star game.

If there was any doubt about US Education Secretary's prowess on the parquet, Arne Duncan put them to rest Friday.

In his third NBA Celebrity All-Star appearances, Arne Duncan brought his A game. Duncan scored 20 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. And he walked away with the MVP award. (OK, the fans voted to give the award to Kevin Hart - as a joke - but Hart graciously bestowed the award to Duncan).

How good was Duncan? Check out the highlight clips above.  Duncan's coup de grâce (at 1:14 on the video)  is what various sports media outlets described as a "sick" no-look pass to Skylar Diggins.

Of course, if you've been following Duncan in previous NBA Celebrity All-Star tournaments, you'd know that this wasn't his first no-look pass. Check out the video (just above) of his over-the-shoulder pass to J. Cole in the 2012 game.

Duncan played basketball at Harvard and spent four years as a professional player in Australia. The 6-foot 5-inch forward is a regular in President Obama's pick up games, according to the Washington Post.

Duncan regularly plays ball with President Obama and tries to squeeze in time on the court when he’s on the road visiting schools and universities. He gives an autographed basketball as a kind of calling card to every school he tours.

The Celebrity All-Star tournament is part of the NBA's All-Star weekend that also includes four skill contests (including the Slam Dunk) on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. on TNT, and culminates with the All-Star game on Sunday at 8 p.m. on TNT.
