College football TV schedule: Conference championships on Saturday
College football TV schedule: SEC championship pits Alabama and Missouri. Florida St. plays Georgia Tech for ACC title. Across America, if your team is playing on the first Saturday in December, more than likely they have reached their respective conference title game.

Championship games are taking place Saturday in a variety of college football conferences all over the country, including the Southeastern, Big Ten, and Atlantic Coast Conferences.
The SEC championship game pits Alabama, ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff poll again this week, against No. 16 Missouri at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Despite a loss at home to a 4-8 Indiana team, the Tigers have quietly compiled a 10-2 record over the course of the 2014 season. Coming off an impressive win over rival Auburn last Saturday night, the Crimson Tide would improve to 12-1 with a win over Mizzou.
Alabama-Missouri can be seen on CBS, beginning at 4 p.m. Eastern time Saturday.
One exception this year to the conference championship game format is the Big 12, which finishes its regular season schedule with several league games. Texas Christian, currently No. 3 in the CFP poll, takes on Iowa State. By virtue of their win Thanksgiving night over Texas, TCU replaced Florida State as the third-ranked team in the playoff poll.

Meanwhile, sixth-ranked Baylor will host No. 9 Kansas State at 7:45 p.m. Eastern Saturday on ESPN. Baylor, TCU, and Kansas State are all tied at the top of the Big 12 with 7-1 records. If both TCU and Baylor win Saturday, they would be co-champions of the Big 12. If that result comes to fruition, some observers feel Baylor should get the national title shot since the Bears beat TCU back in October. If K-State beats the Bears and TCU defeats ISU, the Horned Frogs and Wildcats would finish tied for first. But TCU would get the nod because they defeated K-State on Nov. 8.
No. 4 Florida State, still the only undefeated NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision team left in America, meets 11th ranked Georgia Tech in the ACC title game in Charlotte, N.C. The Yellow Jackets also have a 10-2 record this year and would love nothing better than to take the ACC championship and a chance at a second consecutive national title away from the Seminoles.
Florida St.-Georgia Tech can be seen on ABC, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Saturday.
The Big Ten Conference championship game between No. 5 Ohio State and 13th-ranked Wisconsin will be played in Indianapolis. It's possible for the Buckeyes to reach the College Football Playoff if they beat the Badgers and one or more teams ahead of them in the CFP poll lose. Kickoff is at 8:17 p.m. Eastern time Saturday on Fox.
Then, after all the games wrap up Saturday night, we'll find out who the top four national championship semifinalists will be when the final poll results are announced at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time Sunday on ESPN.
