Reporters on the Job: As a lifelong resident of Karachi, Pakistan, I had come to take its cosmopolitan nature for granted. But the city is changing. Over the past few years, religiosity has been on the rise. Graffiti on the walls praises Allah rather than politicians. Most women are now in head scarves and burkas.
