A senior US delegation, including Defense Secretary Harold Brown, will visit China Jan. 5-13, and although the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan is certain to be discussed, a Pentagon spokesman has reaffirmed the US policy not to sell arms to China. High- technology sales would be discussed on a "case by case" basis.
