Thailand is actively seeking to revive the Manila Pact, a defense agreement that links this country and the Philippines with the United States and other Western countries, the Bangkok Post said Tuesday. The English-language paper quoted "Cabinet-level policymaking sources" as saying Thailand was sounding out opinion on rebuilding the pact among what it called interested parties.
