Miller to face Senate over Textron payments

Sen William Proxmire (D) of Wisconsin anounced Tuesday that his Senate Banking Committee will question Treasury Secretary G. William Miller at a hearing Friday about alleged overseas payments by Textron Inc., of which Mr. Miller was chairman. At a committee hearing on another matter at which Mr. Miller appeared Tuesday, Senator Proxmire said, "I'd like to clear up something that's been hanging over all us concerning that's been hanging over all us concerning the Securities and exchange report on Textron."
