All survive airliner crash landing in Manila

A Taiwanese jetliner undershot a runway on its approach to Manila airport Wednesday and exploded in flames as it bounced to a landing. All 135 people aboard apparently survived.

Richard Yu, Manila manager for China Air Lines, said 10 people were treated for slight injuries and released, 37 were hospitalized, and 74 walked unhurt from the wreckage. He said all 11 crew members were safe. Three people were unaccounted for, he added, suggesting that if uninjured, they might have simply gone home without authorities knowing about it.
