All science is already poetry; we pull against the firmly entrenched nostalgic mu- sic of myth and magic. When science shall have cooperated with the course of events and made clear and coherent the meaning of the daily detial, then science and emotion will interpenetrate, practice and imagina- tion will embrace, poetry and religious feel- ing will be the unforced flowers of life.

Why is Christian Science in our name?

Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
