Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

In a special economic supplement on Luxembourg published March 4, the Monitor stated incorrectly that Chase Manhattan Bank had closed an office in the duchy. It did not. Indeed, this month the bank announced the appointment of Oswald Von Goertz as new managing director of its 100 percent-owned Luxembourg subsidiary, Chase Manhattan Bank Luxembourg S.A.
