No more hostages freed, say Bogota guerrillas

Costa Rican Consul Rolando Blanco, who was was released by the M-19 guerrillas holding the Dominican Republic Embassy over the weekend, said the armed group is in no hurry to settle the 55-day-old standoff.

"Comandate Uno," the group's leader inside the embassy, said "there will be no more liberations" until a full accord is reached with the Colombian government. The M-19 wants to trade the 17 remaining diplomats for its jailed seven-member "high command" and a ransom payment but the government insists the Colombian Constitution prevents them from freeing prisoners outside the judicial process.
