EPA plans to relocate Love Canal families

The Environmental Protection Agency announced a plan Wednesday to relocate over 700 families from the contaminated Love Canal area in Niagara FallS, N.Y. The move came after President Carter declared an emergency in the area -- contaminated by dangerous wastes allegedly dumped by the Hooker Chemical Company -- to permit federal funds to be used to aid the relocation.
