Unheated house

To the real estate editor: I have no intention of leaving my house in the winter, but, by the same token , I have no thought of paying the OPEC group any more oil bills than I have to pay.

I do have a wood stove, but the rest of my house is heated with oil (hot-water system built more than 30 years ago). This summer I plan to put antifreeze into the system so that, in the part of my house that I do not use too often, I can cut the temperature as much as I wish. A reader Center Conway, N.H.
