Suspect in attempt to kill Bakhtiar is with Al-Fatah

One of the men arrested in connection with the Paris attack on the home of former Iranian Prime Minister Shahpour Bakhtiar over the weekend is a low-ranking member of the intelligence arm of Yasser Arafat's Al-Fatah guerrilla group. Arab sources identified the man as Abu Mazen, a vocal Palestinian sympathizer of the Iranian revolutionary leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and a member of Fatah in Beirut. But the sources said it was not yet clear whether the man acted with the knowledge -- or endorsement -- of Fatah.

Mr. Bakhtiar was not injured in the attack but gunman killed a policeman and neighbor.
