Seoul brings journalists under 'purification' drive

The South Korean military ordered news organizations Wednesday to fire journalists lacking anticommunist zeal by Aug. 10 as part of it's "national purification drive." The purge of journalists follows similar action against the armed forces, the South Korean Central Intelligence Agency, political parties, civil servants, and officials of state-run organizations.
