A bill to preserve more than 100 million acres of Alaskan wilderness has been put off until after the Democratic convention because of delaying tactics of Sen. Mike Gravel (D) of Alaska. The legislation Senator Gravel is trying to kill would preserve more than 100 million acres of still unspoiled Alaskan wilderness in national parks and wildlife refuges.
