Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

At least three names are being bandied about as candidates for defense secretary in the cabinet of "President Reagan." The names include Sen. Henry Jackson, Sen. Sam Nunn, and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. The two senators, of course, are Democrats. They could help Reagan give his cabinet a bipartisan image.
Jackson has been very cool to Carter's re-election efforts; he's even been mentioned as a possible runningmate if Kennedy grabbed the Democratic nomination.m
