Thirty-four Senate seats are at stake in 1980. Five seats are open. Below is a list of the 29 incumbents seeking re-election and their rating on key issues by the liberal Americans for Democratic Action (ADA) and the conservative Americans for Constitutional Action (ACA). Scores range from 0 (voted incorrectly on all issues) to 100 (voted correctly).
