Leftist guerrillas firing Chinese-made antitank rockets blasted a nine-foot hole in the US Embassy to protest "Yankee imperliasm" in El Salvador, authorities said. No deaths or injuries were reported in the attack. The US has incurred the anger of El Salvador's left-wing guerrillas for its support of the civilian military junta which has been ruling the country since the overthrow of right-wing President Carlos Humberto Romero last October.
