OPEC weighs meeting on Iranian-Iraqi war

Oil ministers in the Gulf are considering a suggestion by Venezuela that OPEC hold a special meeting because of the war between Iran and Iraq, oil ministry sources said. The meeting would consider the effects on the world oil market of the war, which has halted oil exports from Iran and Iraq of almost 4 million barrels a day. The ministers are already scheduled to meet in Indonesia in December.
