Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The House approved a landmark conservation measure also approved by the Senate, setting aside more than 100 million acres of Alaskan lands in national parks, wildlife refuges, and wilderness. President Carter, expected to sign the measure, lauded it as a "great achievement."
