Is Sweden becoming "religiously illiterate?" Prof. Goran Gustafsson of Lund University in southern Sweden, who has made a study of religion in his country, says "Today's schoolchildren know very little about the Bible, the Psalmbook, catechism, and the life of the church." Gustafsson says there is a question whether Sweden 20 years from now will still be able to regard itself as a Christian country.m
