US free-lance journalist missing in El Salvador

An American journalist is missing and feared to be the eighth US victim of Salvadoran political violence, several days after he checked into the same hotel where two American labor activists were killed, the US Embassy said. An embassy spokesman said he was "very concerned" that free-lance reporter John J. Sullivan "might have been the victim of political violence."
