Commercial jet on way from Peking to New York

The first commercial flight in 30 years between China and the United States left Peking Tuesday en route to Kennedy Airport. The service was authorized in a US-China trade agreement Sept. 17. Pan American World Airways, as part of the agreement, will schedule regular weekly service to Peking ori ginating from New York and San Francisco starting Jan. 28.
