Louisiana judge asks that 3 be reenrolled

A state judge, Richard Lee, unexpectedly renewed his attack in the desegreation fight at Buckeye High School by escorting three white girls to the school and asking that they be reenrolled in defiance of a federal judge's order.

The three students were expected to stay away from class until after a contempt hearing in US District Judge Nauman Scott's court. Mr. Lee, along with the parents and legal guardians of the girls and school officials, faces contempt charges for d efying Judge Scott's desegregation order.
