3 Protestants charged in Ulster shooting

Three Northern Irish Protestants were charged with the attempted murder of Bernadette Devlin Mcaliskey, the fiery political activist, and her husband, Michael, and were ordered held in custory until friday. Mrs. McAliskey, a former member of the British Parliament and a Roman Catholic civil rights campaigner in Northern Ireland since 1969, and her teacher husband were severely wounded when gunmen raided their home in County Tyrone, last Friday.
