Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Canada and the Ivory Coast signed a loan agreement for $34.4 million (Canadian) to help extend the Ivory Coast electricity network. Canadian officials said it was the biggest loan given by Ottawa to a developing country in the framework of its development aid program.
