Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The British government gave its approval Tuesday for Australian publisher Rupert Murdoch to buy The Times of London and its sister newspaper, the Sunday Times.
Times newspaper's present owners, the Canadian-based Thomson organization, has said the newspapers would be sold to Mr. Murdoch if he co uld reach agreements with trade unions on manning levels.
