Salvador rightists accused of raiding Honduran sites
| San Salvador
A United Nations official has accused El Salvador's right-wing death quads of crossing the border into Honduras to attack refugee camps, Carlos Bazoche, head of the office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Honduras, said the agency had moved many of the 35,000 Salvadoran refugees to the center of Honduras to protect them from periodic raids by El Salvador's ultra-rightist paramilitary group ORDEN.
The Honduran government, accused by leftists of giving tacit support to the right-wing squads, has provided no information on the supposed killings.
