NATO wants US to renew talks on limiting missiles

European NATO members will press the United States for an early resumption of US-Soviet talks on limiting medium-range nuclear missiles in Europe, diplomats here said. The members were to make their move today (March 31) at a one-day session in Brussels of the alliance's special consultative group.

The meeting will study ways of launching the talks on the so-called theater nuclear forces. It is not connected wi th the tense situation in Poland, the diplomats said.
