Colombian agents report big strike at drug traffic

Colombian narcotics agents have arrested 200 drug traffickers, seized drugs worth an estimated $200 million, and uncovered 800 secret landing strips on the northern coast in the past four months, police said. They said that among the drugs seized were 370 tons of marijuana, 1,067 pounds of marijuana seeds, and 132 pounds of cocaine. The secret landing strips, used to airfreight the drugs, mainly to the United Sta tes, had been destroyed, they added.
