Hungary dangles casino to bring in hard currency

The first gambling casino in Hungary since that country became a Communist state has opened in Budapest -- but only to foreigners with hard currency. The casino, in the Hilton Hotel in the historic Buda Castle area of Budapest, opened April 25.

The casino, operated jointly with an Austrian company, is the only one in the Soviet bloc outside Bulgaria, wh ich has several catering to tourists.
